Dawn impressions in Croatian painting of 19 century
The exhibition includes small landscapes of Ferdo Quiquerez created in southern Italy, Nikola Mašić´s plain-air studies of Posavina, realistic portrait and also landscapes of Iso Kršnjavi. In a few words, the exhibition shows the new creativity of Croatian painters of the second half 19 century who first going to plain-air and paint free of academism.
