Exhibition 'Selfportraits' of Miroslav Kraljević in Ca'Pesaro

On the representative first floor of Ca'Pesaro, one of the most significant venetian baroque palaces, built on Canal Grande by famous Venetian baroque architect Baldassare Longhena in the second half of the 17th century for the noble Pesaro family, on Friday April 18th 2014 in noon exhibition 'Self portraits' of Miroslav Kraljevic will be opened.
Today Ca'Pesaro is International Gallery of Modern Art as a part of Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia, and will present to venetian cultural public  fourteen oils and six drawings by Miroslav Kraljevic, including selfportraits, portraits and figural compositions.
Bonvivant and Portrait with a dog  will for sure attract most of attention this time, just like they did seventy years ago when they were displayed alongside the other three Kraljevic paintings which were displayed on XXIII Venetian Biennale at the initiative of Croatian sculptor Ivan Mestrovic.
Exhibition catalogue with coloured reproductions of all Kraljević works exhibited in Ca'Pesaro is published in edition of Musei Civici di Venezia.
