On Saturday, April 26, the Modern Gallery’s Josip Račić Studio saw the opening of an exhibition of children’s works created at workshops prompted by and accompanying the Miroslav Kraljević Retrospective, which was held in the Modern Gallery itself from the end of December last year until this April. Visitors enjoyed the happy shapes that, inspired by Kraljević’s art, children of various ages made out of clay, foil and paper. On view were parks, ships of various shapes, still lifes with fruit, portraits, self-portraits, mobiles, fairytale figures and creatures from the imagination.
The exhibition, which aroused great public interest, can be viewed on Sunday too.
We give our thanks to all the children that took part in the workshops, as well as the teachers Lana Đaković, Martina Božić, Vinka Mortigjije Antuš and Lucija Gudlin from the School of Applied Art.
