The third exhibition of the In Focus series was presented
On the prestigious first floor of the Modern Gallery, on Thursday, October 20, the third exhibition of the In Focus series was presented. The exhibition consists of three paintings by the well-known Polish painter Henryk Siemiradzki (1843-1902): Landscape from the Roman Campagna of 1874, Study of a Woman’s Head (Italian Woman) also of 1874 and Landscape with Figures from Antiquity (1877), which apart from their intrinsic value also make a useful contribution to the contextualisation of the oeuvres of Croatian painters Ferdo Quiquerez (1845-1893) and Iso Kršnjavi (1845-1927). Guests were welcomed by Lada Bošnjak Velagić, senior curator of the MG, while Dajana Vlaisavljević, creator of the exhibition and manager of the 19th century Painting and Foreign Masters collections presented the artist and his work.
