A press conference held at the National Museum of Modern Art opening the Jerolim Miše: From Rebel to Bard exhibition
On 8th December, a press conference was held at the National Museum of Modern Art, at which a critical retrospective of the prominent Croatian painter Jerolim Miše was presented. The exhibition was set up by the National Museum of Modern Art in collaboration with the Museum of Fine Arts in Split in celebration of the 130th anniversary of Miše’s birth and the 50th anniversary of his death.
Besides the exhibition, a richly illustrated bilingual catalogue in Croatian and English, and the book Jerolim Miše. Documents, Time, Critiques from the History of the National Museum of Modern Art Series were promoted. Media representatives were addressed by the director of the National Museum of Modern Art, Branko Franceschi, acting director of the Museum of Fine Arts in Split, Jasminka Babić, and author of the exhibition, catalogue and book on Jerolim Miše, Ana Šeparović, PhD.
In compliance with the public health and safety measures introduced by the Croatian Institute for Public Health and the decisions taken by the National Civil Protection Directorate of the Republic of Croatia, the Jerolim Miše: From Rebel to Bard exhibition is on view at the National Museum of Modern Art until 31st January 2021. During December, free guided tours of the exhibition are organised.
