An exhibition of paintings and drawings done after motifs from literary works was opened in the Josip Račić Studio of the Modern Gallery to accompany the 5th Festival of World Literature
On August 31, an exhibition of paintings and drawings done after motifs from literary works was opened in the Josip Račić Studio of the Modern Gallery; the exhibition was mounted jointly by the Modern Gallery and Fraktura, the publishing firm, to accompany the 5th Festival of World Literature. The many invitees were greeted by curator Lada Bošnjak Velagić, on behalf of the Modern Gallery and by Sibila Serdarević, the festival’s organiser, while Feđa Gavrilović, who wrote the catalogue essay, together with Professor Tomislav Buntak from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, presented the works on show.
The Zagreb arts public will be able to view works by Grgur Akrap, Gordana Bakić, Antonija Balić Šimrak, Tomislav Buntak, Igor Čabraja, Tanja Dabo, Ivan Fiolić, Fedor Fischer, Danko Friščić, Tomislav Hršak, Ivana Jurić, Duje Jurić, Vedran Klemens, Daniel Kovač, Koraljka Kovač, Dora Kovačević, Vida Meić, Martina Miholić, Alen Novoselec, Siniša Reberski, Domagoj Rogina, Maja Rožman, Robert Šimrak, ŠimunTolić, Marta Tute, Alan Vlahov, Zlatan Vrkljan and Josip Zanki until September 10, 2017.
